White-rumped Sandpiper - Newport

I decided to pay a visit Newport this morning - mainly in the hope of seeing a Water Pipit. I was unsuccessful with that, but as I looked out from near a bench - about half way between the Parrog Car Park and the Iron Bridge, I noticed a few small waders and took some photos. One of them was a late Curlew Sandpiper. It wasn't until I got home that I realised that there was another smaller wader that I had photographed that I was struggling to identify. Thanks to the help of others, I have now discovered that it was a juvenile White-rumped Sandpiper - not a bird that I have seen before. Hopefully, it will still be around for at least the next day or two for others who would like to see it.
