At Fishguard Harbour this morning, five Great Crested Grebes over towards the Stena Quay. Then one Great Northern Diver very close to the east breakwater, catching shore crabs, and giving wonderful views. On the Lower Town side, also quite close to the breakwater, another Great Northern and a Red-throated Diver.
Between Crincoed and Pen Anglas on Sunday, there was a Red-throated Diver, close in. On the headland: 20 Golden Plover, two Snipe and a Kestral. In the ebb tide, a group of eight Harbour Porpoise beneath about 50 Gannets. Spectacular.
