After a slow start this autumn, it is good to see Teal numbers building, this morning at 637 birds. The Golden Plover flock of c2500 birds was accompanied by 451 Lapwings. 7 Great Crested Grebes were at the mouth of Sprinkle Pill. Other waders: Curlew (37), Redshank (51), Greenshank (3), Dunlin (152), Little Egret (2), Oystercatcher (5), Ringed Plover (9). Waterfowl: Canada Goose (231), Greylag (80), Mallard (21), Shelduck (69), Wigeon (56).
