Last the recent gales had calmed down and yesterday I revisited the site where I had witnessed a communal Red Kite roost a couple of days ago. As dusk approached i scanned the sky but no kites I waited on until it was almost too dark to see and nothing! Had they been displaced from elsewhere or just passing through? send answers on a blank signed cheque!
