At Old Mill Grounds first thing this morning a Kingfisher, a Dipper and an unusual male Reed Bunting beside the river.
At Higgons' Well, the highlight was a pair of Sand Martin buzzing around in front of the viewpoint in the park. It was also nice to see a Greenshank, my first here over the winter, a flock of eight Snipe flushed by a Buzzard from the reeds, and a single Common Gull in the large gull flock bellow Uzmaston.
