En route to Martins Haven for dog walk, I stopped & spoke to two birders who`d been waiting for fortyfive miutes or so to see this bird without success, I had a quick look in the garden it likes but nothing doing so I went off to walk the dog. However realising that said Hoopoe seemed to enjoy "it`s" garden I cut the dogs walk short & drove back to Marloes & pulled up in the car & there it was waiting for me! Five metres away! I watched it for fifteen minutes snacking on small grubs even ignoring me as I started the the car occaisonally to move along with it between the gaps in the hedging. Fantastic! The dog seemed to enjoy it too
