I hope it's OK to post this picture as my tribute to Lyndon whom I got to know mainly through his pelagics. Watching the lesser yellowlegs at Pembroke Castle in 2019, he had to return to his car for some vital accessory for his enormous camera. Just as he came puffing back with it, an ambulance, siren blaring, drove over the bridge. Lyndon, quick as a flash, "I don't know who called an ambulance, I'm perfectly fine!"
