Deeply saddened to hear of Lyndon's passing. As others have said he was a key fixture of Pembrokeshire birding for many years, and I was fortunate to spend time with him in the field, chatting over a cuppa, and even a few trips out of county. I will miss the regular mystery bird photo emails, that always started with "I should know what this is, but....". Spending time with Lyndon was always a pleasure, and usually ended up with giggles and general silliness. A classic example of this was enjoying the Nolton Haven Great-tailed Grackle with him in October 2023. As Lyndon left the bird landed on his car, so I made him stop and point at his roof (he couldn't see it), and took the photo below. Happy days.
