The first West Coast Birdwatching pelagic into the Celtic Deep was a really good one today, with the highlight being a Wilson's Storm Petrel, which was relatively brief but allowed Mark Hipkin to get these excellent and instructive photos. That's five consecutive years we've recorded this species out there. Best of the rest was a single Great Skua, and upwards of 40 European Storm Petrels. We also had some wonderfully close Common Dolphins, and found time to return via The Smalls and Grassholm, which is always a treat. Watery magic.
