We have had some large flocks of Meadow Pipits in the garden at Martinshaven recently: 50-60 birds in a tight group - it has clearly been a good breeding season for them, and the local Linnets.
Yesterday a Spotted Flycatcher briefly in the sallows towards Lockley Lodge.
And we have heard several Whimbrels calling in recent days, and saw one at St Bride's Haven yesterday evening.
