I suspect I have just logged the worst ever WeBS count for Castlemartin Corse!! A total of one Grey Heron!
It is exceptionally dry down there at the moment. I know I made similar comment last year. This year it is drier.

No water in sight at the Corse for todays count |
A number of swallows and the odd house martin flying over the reed beds.
One of the resident buzzard and what might be a returning adult female Marsh Harrier (need to review images in more detail to confirm) saved the visit!

A number of small birds were about with the usual Goldfinch, Linnet and Reed Bunting. One Chiffchaff and a Whitethroat were also observed.

Reed Bunting looking rather autumnal in the hawthorn bush |
Thanks to Richard for coming along, hopefully next month will be better (fingers crossed).
