Brown shrike, still at St Davids

No sign of the Barred warbler, or the shrike for most of the time I was there this afternoon. The shrike was eventually relocated by Dave Soons along the footpath almost sat on the boundary of the property nearby. It wasn't very popular with the local robin, great and blue tit, a chaffinch and a chiffchaff, but it just sat in the last rays of the sun before dropping out of sight presumably to roost. Good to meet Dave from Cirencester who had some excellent photos. https://www.instagram.com/davesoonsphotography/?hl=en Dave also had a barn owl earlier just east of the road back towards St Davids. And nice to catch up with Jon Bennett and his son Matthew.
