Hen Harrier

Highlight of a circular walk from Marloes Mere out to Martin's Haven and back was a juvenile Hen Harrier that we bumped into twice, once over West Hook fields and then at the mere.  Lots of ducks and Lapwing at the mere, the amount of visible water since the recent cut back of vegetation is significant and makes seeing the birds so much easier.
