A female Merlin this afternoon hunting in the fields around the YHA.
Further to this morning`s post :- c180 Canada geese, c150 Lapwing, 50+ Chaffinch - which appeared to be what the Merlin was after. Also 50 Skylarks. On the Mere, Wigeon, Teal & Shoveler.
