Marloes Peninsula and The Gann

Quiet on the Deer park this morning - not even a Stonechat. A couple of Red Throated Divers went close enough to Skomer to count on their log but otherwise even the sea was quiet.

At Marloes Mere and around the Treehill fields later - 150 canada's on the Mere with good numbers of Teal and Shoveler but Wigeon numbers have dropped off. I think 10 Tufties but hard to count, Little Grebe trilling in two locations. Sadly no Harriers.

On the Treehill fields - the 16 Whitefronts still present, a nice male Sparrowhawk and on the rough grass near Gateholm a flock of c. 40 Skylark and 30 Mipits but no wheatear or stonechats!!

At the Gann - same as Dave but a Kingfisher on the pond.
