Skomer

A really good day, loads of birds going over in the morning but lots were really high & must have missed loads, did see - 8000 Starlings, 160 Chaffinches, 250 Skylarks, 65 Greenfinches, about 25 Swallows, 10 Siskins, 3 Bramblings and a Lapland Bunting.
There were loads of thrushes around first thing again - about 50 Song Thrushes, 50 Blackbirds, 12 Redwings, 2 Mistle Thrushes, a Fieldfare & a Ring Ouzel. As well as a Woodcock and our first Long-tailed Tit of the year




This Richard's Pipit flew over just after 09:00, heading towards the mainland

At about 13:00 I was walking down South Valley with Dominic Davidson and this Pallas's Warbler dropped in in front of us for a few seconds before heading off towards North Haven, but we never managed to find it again
