Pembroke wader update

The Blacktailed Godwits are looking good at the moment.
There are 167 on the pond this afternoon with 25 almost in summer plumage.
Two colour ringed birds in the flock, the regular orange/yellow right leg and White on the left leg, the other bird has been here before also, Orange/red flag right leg, white/light green on left leg.
25 Redshanks and 5 greenshanks.
The Graylag reported earlier in the week is probably the domestic bird which escapes from Little Gates with two white geese. Last week they were walking to Pembroke Dock along the railway line, just happened to be a day when trains were not running, they got fed up and walked back for feeding time.
Cettis calling Chiffs and Reed buntings singing, this fine weather forecast for the weekend must be working.
