Glossy Ibis / Marsh Harrier

Watched the Harrier for 5 mins, close, at the barbed wire gate hunting, seemed to have full control over it`s left leg. It flew off towards the cliffs before vanishing in the mist. The Ibis, I managed to locate it in the wet/marsh area to the West of Goose cottage, on the North side of Martinshaven lane. Bumped into Ian Swain, a visiting birder, whom I met earlier in the week, it was he who saw the Bittern, I commended him on such a good find. (through gritted teeth!)
