Skomer

A really nice mornings birding before the rain - highlight was a stunning Yellow-browed Warbler down the bottom of North Valley. More Goldcrests (20 ), Chiffchaffs (10) & Blackcaps (10) than recently & a late Willow Warbler.
More thrushes around as well - 15 Blackbirds, 32 Song Thrushes & 4 Redwings & some finch passage which included 30 Greenfinches & a couple of Redpolls
I've been checking the only patch of rocks on Skomer that gets Purple Sandpipers fairly regularly but 4 there today were the first ones I've seen this autumn. I can't see anything special about this patch of rocks
