Martin's Haven and Marloes

A windy walk up and around the Mere this afternoon.
The Glossy was showing very well, flying around frequently. The Mere appeared devoid of dabbling ducks until something put them up: perhaps 100-plus Teal, and many tens of Mallard, Shoveller, Gadwall and Wigeon.
The Tufted Duck were in a small gaggle in the North irrigation pond, just viewable from the NT car park. The Scaup was viewable, but I could not find the "other" duck; one for tomorrow.
Lots of Snipe on the Trehill fields on the way back, with one Jack Snipe. 200-plus Lapwing and the 4 Pink Feet amongst perhaps 50 Canadas.
