Twenty-two curlew flew in at about 1620 hrs and a couple of snipe got up and flew around before settling again; there was no sign of the large numbers of late. Circa 25 starling dropped into the reeds as the light went, possibly to roost. A tawny owl flew across the Marsh from right to left calling.
