Have just returned from Rudbaxton where 3 Waxwings were feeding on Ash keys behind the Church tower. They were being blown about a bit by the strong wind and soon flew off. They flew past Great Rudbaxton Farm towards Bowlings Farm and Poyston. I could not relocate them from the road by the former and suspect they went on towards the latter.
Lots of Ash trees in Pembs, at least for the time being, perhaps we should be looking at them closely with Waxwings in mind.
