Some notable cold weather movements today. Winter thrushes were moving in good numbers through the morning. Minimum numbers of 200+ redwing, 150+ song thrush and 130+ fieldfare, mainly moving south but many stopping to feed. 100+ lapwing came over from the mainland along with 13 golden plovers.
Also 1 woodcock, 1 chaffinch and the return (did it ever go away?!) of the long staying black redstart at Porth Lleuog. 246 grey seals hauled out today. Fresh otter spraints seen on 20/1
