Pantmaenog - thaw set in in earnest and surprisingly mild even up on top, with a few midges coming-off in the melting pools. Both up here and over at Ty Rhyg numbers of Goldcrest, and bullfinches also noticeable with groups of up to 6 or so. 4 ravens calling and displaying. Handful of fieldfare and redwings passing over. 500 starling in the fields. Ty Rhyg: willow tits churring away, with goldcrest everywhere. Woodcock put up over the farside. Rosebush res: 10 Tufted, 6 Goldeneye, 20 Teal, 10 mallard, 3 Little grebe. A Red kite over Crundale.
