The day started well at Broad Haven with a fine Black-throated Diver along with 10 Red-throats and 3 Great Northern Divers.3 Purple Sandpipers picked their way over rocks at the north end of the beach.No sign of the Surf Scoter either close inshore or further out with the 100+ Scoter.
On to Fishguard where a cracking summer plumaged Black Guillemot fed near the ferry.5 Great Northern and 4 Red-throated Divers were also present.
