Looking out over the Haven from the car park at the end of Fort Road in Pembroke Dock (SM955036) as the tide came in this afternoon, there were 500+ dunlin,70+ black-tailed godwit, over 30 curlew, 10+ ringed plover, c10 oystercatcher, a grey heron, 4 mallard, a little egret and a couple of redshank. There were also several hundred black-headed gulls. The poor light and distance made it difficult to establish whether there were any other small waders with the dunlin. There was a single sighting of a distant, but unidentifiable grebe over by the LNG Plant.
