An arrival of meadow pipits today. 47 were feeding together in Parc-y-Lloi and a further 50+ came in off the sea during the day in small parties (from the west). First house sparrow of the year appeared along with another goldfinch. 3 wheatears, 1 merlin, 50 starling and 3 linnets. Still no goldcrests or hirundines and only 1 chiffchaff so far.
2 more chough sites nest building today. Entertaining battle going on between 2 pairs of raven that have built nests too close to each other!
