Marloes Mere: A snipe flying around, pair shelduck, still only a solitary swift as far as I could see, a distant cuckoo(?) on telegraph wires near car park was confirmed by Derek G who'd also located a Blue-headed wagtail amongst the 10 white wags on the bank by barbed-wire gate. 18 wheatear on my travels, 2 Grasshopper warblers on Deer Park, pair chough. Plenty of whitethroats and sedge warblers tonight. Gann: Great Northern diver in bay, a couple of whimbrel, 6 redshank and a Little ringed plover on the grassy spit (possibly a second bird which settled by river mouth but I couldn't spot it on the shore).
