A brief visit at around 1900 was rewarded by a lovely singing Garden Warbler in the young trees to the East of the road, and a rather hesitant Wood Warbler high in the canopy. Lots of other birdsong: I imagine it will be wonderful early in the mornings, and in 1-2 weeks when everything has arrived and settled in.
