Dave's enthusiasm for the Black-headed Wagtail certainly wasn't misplaced; an absolutely superb bird and very rare, only the 19th ever in Britain and the second ever for Pembrokeshire (the first being on Skomer in 1986). It called once as it flew while Kathy and I were present, sounding very unlike
flavissima with a rolling 'zrrreep' call. It's been quite a spring for Yellow Wagtails in Pembs and we haven't had a Grey-headed in a while - here's hoping!! A couple more photos here but it wasn't easy.
