Whinchat singing on top of tall pine. Cuckoo very mobile, being kept on the move by pipits. 3 Jays, 2 Grasshopper warbler, lots of Tree Pipit on the higher path. A Spotted flycatcher in the remaining stand of conifers. Pair Grey Wagtails literally hammering the dragonflies on one of the ponds. One caught a chaser that looked huge but it dealt with it with a couple of bashes on a stone and shot off, to feed chicks no doubt.
