Off Skomer last night. Had a conversation with Dave earlier & he said (along with a few others) that it was almost certainly a leucistic Herring Gull, the salient points being, head, eye & bill not being "quite right" with glaucoides. I have no objection to being humbly corrected! Leucistic Herring Gull it is then.
