Ty Rhyg
Spent a few hours up there yesterday and again this morning: Greenfinches weezing away. Redpolls, Willow warbler and Whitethroat, thought I caught a snatch of Tree Pipit along the edge by the road, but could only see Meadows. Reedbunting and Willow tits calling. Cuckoo (female?) being chased by female blackbird (none heard calling). Pair goldcrest, with male pursuing a female around a small conifer with his crest splayed. Sparrowhawk through the willows by Paddys Poles. 2 Jays making a racket. Nice to see a pair Spotted flycatchers sat side-by-side, and another individual singing same area. 2 crossbills flying above canopy. 3 Treecreeper. Pied wagtail with food. Quite a few Green Tiger beetles along the track.
