During an early morning walk to avoid the Bank Holiday crowds, a rather smart adult
Rose-coloured Starling flew around the fields below the Youth Hostel (at around 9:10 am), before heading towards the Golf Course. I couldn't find it on the rough field set to be the GC extension, where it would likely have been had it stayed around. Presumably John and Marion's bird. Also a Reed Warbler and a couple of Willow Warblers in the bushes and a Whimbrel over.
