Angle

At Kilpaison this morning a few more waders than of late - c.80 Dunlin, 11 Ringed Plover, 1 Turnstone and a Curlew Sandpiper.

In the bay there were 8 Manx Shearwaters, most sat on the water. Having found their way into the bay they seem to find it difficult to re-orientate and get back out to sea. Plenty of Great Black-backed Gulls  were lurking and I have seen them dispatch 2 Shearwaters in the past week or so.
