Dale-Marloes

Gann: 2 Mediterranean Gulls, a redshank, 7 Black-tailed godwits, 4 Bar-tailed godwits, 2 Little grebe, 3 Little egrets, Pied wags and a couple of wheatear on shore. 3 robins here (others on airfield and around mere). Airfield: Lots of wheatear (c25) and Meadow pipits (c50+). A snipe and a teal on the pond. A ringed plover flying over (near Hookses). A probable Golden plover put up from the far end of sheep field by the racing circuit did a 'pu' call, (followed it in binocs and appeared to drop back in beyond race-circuit). Mere: Oriole Hide - 3 wheatear, BW Gate 4 wheatear, also wheatear in stubble field along track and coast path. Britton Hide: Grey heron (often see them passing rarely on the bank like this one).
