A frustrating Phyllosc led us a merry dance late afternoon. Hoping it will still be there in the morning and gives itself up. Totals of note were: 44 chiffchaff, 8 willow warbler, 1 garden warbler, 6 blackcap, 5 spotted fly, 1 whinchat, 3 goldcrest, 1 hen harrier (ring tail), 1 sparrowhawk, 1 merlin, 53 chaffinch (east), 5 skylark (east), carrion crow x60, chough x28, 80 meadow pipit, 200+ swallow, 4 curlew and bird of the day...rook!
