Skokholm trip

Set off for Skokholm on Monday 9th with a Wryneck found by Bob Haycock at Martin's Haven. Then another Wryneck on North Plain when we arrived, followed by a Red-backed Shrike found by Laura there on the 11th, a juvenile or adult female? An interesting individual certainly. Then this morning another Wryneck found near the Farm just before we left, cut short by the impending storm. So a great supporting cast but no star bird. Richard and Giselle will be birding hard on the Island into November so look for some good birds to come!
