Western Orphean Warbler

The (presumed Western) Orphean Warbler still at Orlandon Kilns late afternoon.  Please note no further access to this site - Rosemary and Peter have been more than generous in allowing us access to their garden for 3 consecutive days, giving everyone a chance to come and see it.  Time to leave them in peace now!

Also worth noting that during the 3 days visitors have also recorded a Crossbill over, a Firecrest (yesterday and today) and the 3 Whoopers from Marloes also did a flypast!  2 Chiffchaffs in the area included one looking good for Siberian but it did not call.  Another Chiffchaff this afternoon at Dale Fort also looked good for Siberian, and responded to Siberian call on the iPod by coming in very close, but would not call back.  29 Brents at the Gann along with 13 Wigeon.
