Glaucous Gull Newgale Marsh

A smashing chunk of juvenile (1CY - first calendar year) Glaucous Gull on Newgale Marsh just after 1pm today, with a large mixed flock of small and large gulls which were coming and going all the time I was there (around half an hour) - I don't recall ever seeing so many gulls there so worth a check if you are passing.  No sign of any ducks despite the river being in flood.  A fantastic end to what has been a stellar year in Pembrokeshire - the best I can remember.  Good birding to all in 2014.
