I dropped by Goultrop this afternoon at about 3.30 to look for some Scotor, and found none, just a single Red-throated Diver. There was, however, a nicely developing gull roost, with the bay very sheltered. I counted around 400 birds, with more arriving as the light went at 4.00. Not quite the number of species reported by Richard Dobbins at Newgale earlier today, but 3 adult Med Gulls, and 30-40 Kittiwakes (a mix of juveniles and adults) were a nice surprise.
