Newgale Marsh & Tree Sparrows

Spent over an hour and half here this afternoon from 1.30pm.  Lots of gulls as yesterday, and coming and going all the time.  At least 10 different Mediterranean Gulls seen, I suspect several more came and went, but it wasn't always easy to tell the adults apart (7 adults, 1 3CY, 2 2CY birds).  Also at least 3 Kittiwakes (2 adults, 1 2CY) and the two dominant species were Herring Gull (majority adults) and Black-headed Gulls (likewise).

A couple of days ago Ed Hunter had 4+ Tree Sparrows in a hedge by the roadside west of Hayscastle Cross, between the crossroads at Brynamlwyg and Gignog Farm (approximate grid ref SM893245 - near stubble field).
