Kumlien's Newgale

The same Kumlien's Gull was at Newgale Marsh until 9:30 but not seen from then to when I left at 12:00. When I saw it first, it was with a very similar bird but they drifted apart pretty much straight away and I couldn't re-find it later to grill. Also present at various times, were the adult and 1st w Glaucous Gulls and later a Bonxie harrassed some of the mass of Gulls feeding along the beach on what looked like washed-up worms and shellfish. In fact the melee on the beach just looked like an Ivory Gull magnet and I had a feeling one could turn up any time. Sadly it didn't. I'll try to post some images later.
