Castlemartin Corse

The water level has dropped by 1.5 metres to normal winter levels. 10 chough were feeding in the field E of Starman's Hall (A4) - they were there on our outrun and still feeding vigorously an hour later as we returned. Small flocks of linnet (150) and skylark (20). Brief views of water rail, around 50 snipe in the fen meadow and a further 100+ flying over the Corse with duck (lots of teal, mallard, wigeon and 4 shoveler). Clive's stock dove flock were in the sheep/stubble field by the road NW of Newton Farm.
