No pics of Iceland Gull here, I'm afraid, and I suspect that most (if not all) of my Kumlien pics are of the long-staying adult Kumlien's, which seems to be replacing its missing secondary (see pic above - where the hint of a gap is visible). This is the bird that was on view most of the time and that was being chased by the Herring Gulls etc. I think that the other white-winger went straight through. If Dave and Paul had two adult Kumlien's later, then perhaps there wasn't a nominate Iceland. As Mike says, the blustery conditions didn't make for easy viewing conditions on the beach this morning.
