Migrants on the Teifi.

A busy marsh this evening,- the hirundine flock, really building up, c400 mainly Sand Martins but Swallow numbers on the increase. About c50 alba Wagtails went to roost - a bit of sampling, of 23 caught all 23 were White Wagtails. The odd common Snipe still calling in flight at dusk.

1 Wigeon feeding with 23 "passage Shelduck", the usual pairs on their territories now.
1 Common Sandpiper on Patch today, and nearby 2 Turnstones on Cardigan Island. Yesterday, 1 Red-throated Diver  at the mouth of the estuary a good Teifi record
