Ramsey

A few signs of things starting to move. Today saw a yellow wagtail, a cuckoo, a golden plover and 2 grey heron. Also 50+ swift feeding over the summit of Carn Llundain. After rousing our suspicions all season it looks as though a pair of chiffchaff did in fact breed for the first time. 2 newly fledged juveniles with 1 adult in the garden for the past few days with a male singing again in the farmhouse valley. House martins (which bred for first time in 2013) have fledged 1 so far with at least 2 more still in the nest under the eaves of the farmhouse.
