Marloes Area

From Francis Tusa -
Mixed day..........An early visit to Marloes Mere gave little more than 2 Widgeon - early?
The garden quiet - mainly the resident Stonechats but 2 Whinchats.
A group beach visit to Marlowe Sands at c.1230 produced 18-21 Chough in a rising mass until they split up... Some went West, some East...
The ploughed field behind Rath Cottage had 8+ alba Wagtail, 1 Yellow Wagtail, and 7 Wheatear.
Later afternoon, en route to the Gann, a lovely fresh male Sparrowhawk just after Trehill Farm.
Osprey wonderfully visible at the Gann, and a male Peregrine shot down the Pickleridge.
