Marloes

Safely negotiated the detour and Marloes Mere was abuzz with a singing Willow Warbler, 4 Chiffchaffs, a pair of Kestrels, and best of all, a full front, eyeball to eyeball, view of a male Merlin as it approached the hide.
Got a lovely view of its undercarriage too, as it decided to land on top of the hide! Dipped the Garganey, but it may have been with the Wigeon that were flying around. The Clouded Yellow was still there.
On to the Gann and got a distant view of an Osprey over the dead forest before we even got there. It went into a dive and disappeared over the hill. Happy with that.
