Ramsey - Barred warbler

Lisa located a very elusive barred warbler in the farmhouse garden this morning. It was still present this evening but only gave a few brief good views all day. It is only the second record for Ramsey after a first on 30/10/01

Also of note today - 1 house sparrow, 2 blackcaps, 1 wheatear (the first for several days), 1 song thrush, 1 reed bunting, 2 goldcrest and 1 chiffchaff. At least 2,000 swallows south through the morning
